Introduction
Established in 2004, Diane brings 25 years experience in operating a successful retail antique store, The Antique House last in La Canada Flintridge. Prior to that, she was a partner in The American Oak Antique Company in Temecula. Before going into her own business, she managed the Accounts Payable Dept. of an international, publicly-held company for five years.
When the need for Estate liquidation occurs shortly after losing a loved one, a kind, experienced professional is very much appreciated.
Diane’s integrity and desire to be of service are reflected in her 22-year membership and past presidency in Kiwanis, an international service club whose goal is to improve the world one child and one community at a time. As a qualified, working personal property appraiser, she is trained in quickly and accurately finding the value of each of your treasures. (In 2008 she achieved the designation of Certified Accredited Personal Property Appraiser).
We believe you have a right to be able to find a company who operates legally in every area. We collect sales tax because it’s the law. We carry one million dollars of liability insurance. (No one has ever sued us or even threatened to, usually because we are nice).
Our need for the number of team members changes constantly due to the size of each sale, that it is impossible to hire even part-time employees. Instead of paying staff “under the table” as is commonly done in this type of business, we hire our members as contract labor and they receive a 1099 at the end of each year. Many of them have advanced degrees in various fields and professions.
